Vintage Inns: Bass ‘Dry’ Estate Managed Country Pubs
The Vintage Inns concept took under-performing rural pubs and ‘transported’ them back to a time of good, old-fashioned and hearty inn-keeper’s fayre.
The “Closure Board” (1) teased customers accordingly.
A key learning from planning was that visual appeal was paramount and subsequent Below The Line leaflets and local door drops (2 – 5) sought to enhance and play up to the archetypal ‘chocolate box’ appeal of the quintessential English Country pub – as well as highlighting the new menu and traditional pub values.
